Project work that ALS have completed
Below is some of the work we have completed for our clients, as you can see from the images, we undertake different aspects of surveying and use the most up to date technologies.
Find out more about the different surveys we offer, From GPS to boundary disputes, we can help you get the lay of the land.
Pegging out a boundary with robotic total station
The Leica 1200 is controlled remotely allowing pegging out and surveying by a one man team.
The automated technology increases the positioning precision by reducing operator targeting errors.
We offer a full setting out service to developments of all types in Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex and London.
Flood risk assessment survey in suffolk
This river catchment was surveyed by Anglia Land Surveys using the latest Leica Smart Rover GPS system. Using the Smart Net corrections service our GPS surveyors are able to give an instant read out to the Ordnance Survey level datum.
The measured levels were then plotted on to digital mapping and contoured based on flood zones.
New survey for a retail unit in Norwich, Norfolk
Prior to the opening of a new retail store in this unit ALS visited site to produce a detailed floor area and commercial lease plans all land registry compliant.
We offer a full surveying and plotting service to properties in Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex and central London area. We also have surveyors working nationwide throughout the UK.

All our surveyors are experienced land and building surveyors. We can also quote to carry out measured building surveys and topographic surveys.
Example of a grade one listed building survey
This elevation of a school building was surveyed by Anglia Land Surveys using a Leica reflectorless total station and handheld Disto and automatic level.
ALS surveying instruments have a laser range of up to 300 metres to measure inaccessible points.

Example roof plan site work
The boundary for this site comprised entirely of existing buildings, built up in many phases over a period of time in variety of styles, heights and angles. The demolition stage of this project meant that all existing site features would be lost and needed to be recorded.
Using a Leica reflectorless total station at ALS our building surveyors are able to take very precise measurements.

Land surveying at a barn conversion
An example topographic land measurements survey by Anglia Land Surveys using a Leica reflectorless and one man robotic total station EDM.
Here a 250 metre road visibility splay was measured to show that the site had sufficient access to satisfy the Highways authorities.
Using our GPS Smart Rover the site control was fixed to Ordnance Survey grid and datum. This site information is now being submitted for flood risk assessment (FRA) and determined boundary establishment.
The one man surveyor robotics equipment speeds up the surveying process and increases the precision of measurements.
